Privacy, plainly explained.

What this site collects, why it is used, and the choices you have.

Effective 2 September 2026

This is a practical transparency statement for Alex’s AI Websites. It is not a promise that every privacy law applies in the same way to every visitor.

What I collect

If you submit the website problem form, I collect the website URL, description of the problem, work email, and any optional phone number you provide. I also receive the date and context of the submission.

If you accept analytics, Google Analytics may collect information about how you use the site, such as pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser information, and referral information. Analytics is not loaded when you choose “Necessary only.”

Why I collect it

I use form details to review your website problem, respond to your enquiry, assess whether I can help, prevent misuse, and keep reasonable business records. If enabled, analytics helps me understand which pages are useful and improve the site.

Who processes it

Ploy hosts this website and processes form submissions so they can be stored and delivered to me. Google processes analytics data only when you accept analytics. These providers may process information outside Australia under their own privacy and security arrangements. I do not sell your personal information.

Cookies and local storage

The site stores your privacy choice in your browser so it can be remembered. If you accept analytics, Google Analytics may use cookies or similar technologies. You can change your choice at any time using “Cookie settings” in the footer. Changing your choice stops future analytics loading on this site; you can also clear existing cookies in your browser.

Storage, security, and retention

I take reasonable steps to protect personal information from loss, misuse, and unauthorised access. I keep enquiry and related business records only for as long as reasonably needed for the purposes above, legal obligations, dispute resolution, and legitimate business records, then delete or de-identify them where practical.

Access, correction, and complaints

You may ask what personal information I hold about you, request a correction, or ask for deletion where appropriate. Submit the website form with “Privacy request” at the start of the problem field, or contact me through LinkedIn. I may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.

I will review privacy concerns and respond within a reasonable time. If the Australian Privacy Act applies and a concern remains unresolved, you may contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.

Policy updates

I may update this policy when the website, service providers, or legal requirements change. The effective date below will show the latest revision.
